Résumé professionnel
Currently pursuing my MSc in Bioinformatics at Savitribai Phule Pune University, I come from a strong foundation in Microbiology (BSc) and a deep curiosity about how molecular systems operate. My journey has been a mix of wet lab experiments and computational problem-solving—skills I’m actively sharpening to contribute to the future of precision medicine, protein engineering, and drug discovery.
Recently, I contributed to a research project titled “Maleimide-Based Scaffolds as Potent Antitubercular Agents: Synthesis, InhA Targeting and Biological Evaluation,” which has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Molecular Structure. I was responsible for the complete computational workflow, including target identification and validation, molecular docking, docking validation, and protein–ligand interaction analysis, along with ADMET profiling of lead compounds.
Through my coursework and hands-on workshops, I’ve developed a solid command of:
• Genomics, including sequence analysis and gene annotation
• Protein structure prediction and modeling, with experience in homology modeling using MolSoft ICM-Pro
• Basic scripting in Python, R, and Linux for biological data handling
• Molecular docking, structure refinement, and data mining tools
During my internship at Advent Informatics, I worked on a structure-based drug design project involving Hsp90 from Entamoeba histolytica. I constructed a homology model for its N-terminal ATPase domain and assessed selective inhibitor binding—an experience that deepened my interest in computational structural biology and target-specific therapeutic research.
I’ve also attended multiple national-level workshops on protein modeling, AI in biology, genomics, and structural bioinformatics, which have enriched both my theoretical and applied understanding.
I’m currently looking for internships, collaborative projects, or trainee roles in the field of computational biology, genomics, and proteomics, where I can apply what I’ve learned to real-world biomedical challenges. Whether it’s working with high-throughput data, predicting protein-ligand interactions, or improving models for neglected diseases—I’m all in.
Let’s connect if you’re in the field of bioinformatics, molecular biology, or drug discovery—I’d love to learn from your journey and contribute where I can.
