Associate Professor

Ms. Snigdha Rani Behera is a distinguished associate professor in the School of Pharmacy at ARKA JAIN University, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Assam Downtown University, Guwahati, Assam. She completed her Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm.) in 2010 from Berhampur University and earned her Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) degree in 2006 from Roland Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. With over 14 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration, Ms. Behera has made significant contributions to pharmaceutical education and scientific research. She has authored one book, A Practical Lab Manual for Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and has contributed five book chapters in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. Additionally, she has published more than 34 research and review articles in reputed national and international journals. Her research interests encompass artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), green synthesis, bioanalytical method development, and advanced analytical methodologies. She has actively presented her research findings at numerous national and international conferences and has participated in a wide range of faculty development programs, seminars, workshops, and professional training initiatives. Ms. Behera is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), Indian Pharmacy Education Society (IPES), and International Institute of Organized Research (IIP). Her academic and research excellence has been recognized through several prestigious awards, including the Researcher Excellence Award (2024) from ARKA JAIN University, the Young Researcher Award (2022) from the InSc Institute of Scholars, and the Women Young Scientist Award (2020) from IPES. She also holds 11 Indian patents, highlighting her innovative contributions to pharmaceutical sciences and research. Through her dedication to teaching, research, innovation, and professional development, Ms. Behera continues to make a meaningful impact on the academic and scientific community.
