Full Professor

Dr. Yu Zhang is currently an Associate Professor at the Institute of Interdisciplinary Integrative Biomedical Research, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He obtained his bachelor's degree in 2014 from Shanghai University. Then he moved to the School of Pharmacy, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where he studied medicinal chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Wei-Dong Zhang and Prof. Hui-Zi Jin. In September of 2017, he moved to Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Germany where he focused on green chemistry and photocatalysis and earned his PhD degree in November 2020 with Prof. Dr. Shoubhik Das and Prof. Dr. Konrad Koszinowski. He started his postdoctoral research at the Organic synthesis Division (ORSY), University of Antwerp, Belgium with Prof. Shoubhik Das from January 2021 to December 2021.
