Purepain (푸레파인) ointment is indicated for the temporary relief of pain, itching, edema and bleeding associated with anal fissures and hemorrhoids, while also providing a disinfecting effect.
The formulation contains five active ingredients: lidocaine 30 mg, allantoin 10 mg, tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride 0.5 mg, chlorhexidine hydrochloride 5 mg, and L‑menthol 5 mg per unit. Lidocaine acts as a local anesthetic by blocking nerve stimulation and conduction. The product should be stored in a sealed container, protected from direct sunlight, at room temperature between 1 °C and 30 °C.
