GE Healthcare has identified an exposed sharp edge inside the electronics cabinet of its SIGNA™ Artist and SIGNA™ Artist Evo magnetic resonance imaging systems. The protruding edge can damage power cables, potentially leading to an electrical fault.
If an electrical fault occurs and the cabinet door is opened while the system remains powered, an arc flash could be generated, posing a serious injury risk to service personnel in the immediate vicinity.
