The government designated September 7—the anniversary of the Cosmetics Act’s enactment—as “Cosmetics Day” to raise public awareness of the industry’s policy importance, enhance consumer understanding of product safety, and strengthen international competitiveness. This designation follows a legal amendment on April 1 of the previous year, making 2024 the second year the day is officially observed.
