The White House made public the outcome of the second set of negotiations under President Donald Trump's Most Favored Nation (MFN) drug‑price policy.
After concluding agreements with 17 large pharmaceutical companies between last year and April 2024, the administration turned its attention to mid‑size pharma and biotech firms about four months later.
According to a fact sheet released on August 31, the companies included in the latest agreements are Alcon, Astellas Pharma, BeOne Medicines, BridgeBio, CSL, Kyowa Kirin, Sun Pharma and Teva (partial name shown).
The announcement signals the administration’s continued effort to extend MFN pricing terms beyond the biggest manufacturers to a broader segment of the industry.
