Domestic P‑CAB drug 자큐보 shows GERD efficacy and safety in >5,500‑patient real‑world study

Oncogenic Therapeutics reported that its domestically developed P‑CAB drug 자큐보 (active ingredient 자스타프라잔시트르산염) was evaluated in a large real‑world study involving more than 5,500 patients with gastro‑esophageal reflux disease (GERD). The study confirmed that 자큐보 improved GERD symptoms and demonstrated a favorable safety profile. Notably, patients who transitioned from conventional proton‑pump inhibitors (PPIs) or other P‑CAB agents to 자큐보 also experienced significant symptom relief. The real‑world data (RWD) findings have been published in the international gastroenterology journal Journal of Neurogastroenterology and Motility (JNM).
