Jongkundang launches NURATEON R&D subsidiary to expand pharma platform

Jongkundang announced on the 9th that it has founded a research‑development‑focused subsidiary named NURATEON to broaden its R&D platform business. The inauguration ceremony was held on the 8th at the Hyocheong Research Institute in Dongbaek‑gu, Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, attended by Jongkundang Holdings CEO Choi Hee‑nam, NURATEON CEO Won Dong‑han, and roughly 100 employees. NURATEON will leverage the research capabilities and technology accumulated at the Hyocheong Research Institute to provide comprehensive services across the entire drug development process. These services include new drug formulation, improved drugs, generics, over‑the‑counter (OTC) products, as well as analytical research, formulation research, and drug‑delivery‑system (DDS) research.
