Aix-Marseille University

French public university in Marseille and Aix-en-Provence, created in 2012 by merging the three universities of the region and one of the largest in the French speaking world. Its Faculty of Pharmacy in Marseille teaches the pharmacy degree with departments of pharmaceutical chemistry, galenic pharmacy and biopharmacy, pharmacognosy, pharmacology and toxicology and clinical pharmacy, and the university also runs faculties of medicine, science and health with the Marseille public hospitals as teaching hospitals and research units in infectious disease, cancer, neuroscience and medicinal chemistry.
