Brazilian private university centre in the Funcionários district of Belo Horizonte, founded in 1904 by the Methodist church as a school and later raised to higher education. Teaches nursing, physiotherapy, psychology, biomedicine and health courses alongside architecture, engineering, law and business, runs teaching laboratories and clinics and places students in the city's hospitals and health services.
