Swedish public university at Linköping in Östergötland with further campuses at Norrköping and in the university hospital, founded as a university in 1975 and known for its problem based medical curriculum and interdisciplinary institutes. Teaches medicine, biomedicine, nursing, physiotherapy and biomedical engineering and runs the Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences, the Centre for Medical Image Science and Visualization and work on organic electronics and biosensors at Norrköping, with clinical research and trials at the Linköping university hospital.
