Sold azacitidine as Vidaza for myelodysplastic syndromes and held the European and selected international rights to thalidomide licensed from Celgene, and was bought by Celgene in a cash and share deal worth about 2.9 billion dollars that completed in March 2008, bringing Vidaza, Thalomid and Revlimid together in one company.
