Federally recognised Native American nation in western New York with territories at Cattaraugus, Allegany and Oil Spring and offices at Irving and Salamanca. Governs its own territories and runs the Seneca Nation Health System, which operates health centres at Cattaraugus and Allegany providing primary and dental care, behavioural health, diabetes and community health programmes and their own pharmacies, together with education, social services and economic development enterprises.
