St. Antonius Ziekenhuis

Dutch teaching hospital with its main site at Nieuwegein and further locations in Utrecht, Woerden and Houten, formed in its present shape when the St. Antonius hospital merged with Mesos Medisch Centrum in 2008. One of the country's larger non academic teaching hospitals, it is a national referral centre for cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery, for interstitial lung disease and other pulmonary medicine and for gastroenterology and oncology, runs a hospital pharmacy with its own preparation and a clinical pharmacy department carrying out therapeutic drug monitoring and pharmacokinetic research, and has a research and development organisation running clinical trials.
