The Benjamin Mkapa Hospital

Tanzanian public tertiary referral and university teaching hospital in Dodoma, established by the government under the Ministry of Health in October 2015 and named after Benjamin William Mkapa, the third president of Tanzania. Runs around four hundred beds and a wide range of specialised and super specialised services including cardiac surgery and catheterisation, neurosurgery, laparoscopic surgery and joint replacement, alongside diagnostics, pharmacy services and teaching linked to the University of Dodoma.
