Peruvian public university in Cusco, founded in 1692 and one of the oldest universities in the Americas. Teaches through faculties of health sciences with medicine, nursing, pharmacy and biochemistry and dentistry, science with chemistry and biology, agricultural sciences and engineering, and carries out research in medicinal plants of the Andes and Amazon, natural products, food science and biotechnology with its own laboratories and herbarium.
