University of Valladolid

Spanish public university in Valladolid in Castile and León, founded in the thirteenth century and one of the oldest in the country, with further campuses at Palencia, Segovia and Soria. Teaches medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, chemistry, food science and technology and industrial and telecommunications engineering, and carries out research in medicinal and analytical chemistry, food technology, biomedical signal and image processing and drug delivery through institutes including the Institute of Ophthalmobiology and the biomedical engineering group, with its own analytical services and links to the Valladolid hospitals.
