Jordanian public university in Irbid in the north of the country, founded in 1976 and one of the largest in Jordan. Teaches through its faculty of science with chemistry, biological sciences and biotechnology, its faculty of medicine opened in recent years and its faculties of pharmacy related and allied health subjects, alongside the humanities, education, law and information technology, and carries out research in medicinal chemistry, natural products of the region, biotechnology and public health with its own laboratories.
