Dr Dube was born and raised in Dar es-salaam, Tanzania. She has lived in South Africa, England, Canada & Scotland. She joined RGU in February 2023. She is currently a Course Leader and Clinical Practice Lecturer at the School of Pharmacy, Applied Sciences and Public Health at Robert Gordon University, UK. Within the Masters of Pharmacy (MPharm) course, she is the Module Coordinator for Advances in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Practice (SCQF level 11) and Professional Practice 1 (SCQF Level 7). She was the Course Development Lead for a new BSc (Hons) Clinical Practice for Pharmacy Technicians (CPPT), the first of its kind in the UK, that launched in September 2025 and she became the Course Leader for this new BSc. She is also the module coordinator of a CPPT module, Specialised Pharmaceutical Care 1 (SCQF Level 10). Dr Dube was awarded the Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) in June 2024. Additionally, in June 2025 she was awarded a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), a prestigious, internationally recognised professional recognition for educators in higher education awarded by Advance HE (UK). This award demonstrates her expertise, commitment to teaching quality, and alignment with the UK Professional Standards Framework (PSF). She is a GPhC registered Pharmacist in the UK with over 19 years of distinguished pharmacy experience. She has worked in community, retail, hospital as well as academia. She has grown her pharmacy career through managing all aspects of a pharmacy business. She owned and operated her own franchise pharmacy business for 3 years and was responsible for over forty employees. She is a strong leader who can solve complex operational and performance issues. She is a motivator of teams to deliver on all key performance indicators (KPIs). She has developed skills in clinical and therapeutic knowledge, customer and human resource relations and intra- and inter- professional collaborations. She has also cultivated traits best suited for the advancement of her pharmacy career. She is Certified Diabetic Educator (CDE) and certified to administer injections. She has special interests in the management of chronic conditions such as Diabetes, Obesity, Cardiovascular disease, Chronic Pain and Substance Use Disorders as well as Women's Health. Research Interests -Patient and Public involvement in healthcare research, with a focus on Global Ethnic Majority women. -Advancing the Pharmacy workforce through accredited higher education. - The Use of Gamification in Pharmacy Education. -The management of chronic conditions namely Diabetes, Obesity, Cardiovascular disease, Chronic Pain, and Substance Use Disorders. - The management of minor ailments -Women's Health -Inter-professional learning and collaborations - The Use of AI in HE teaching and learning - Evidence Based Medicine
