I have a strong academic background and a passion for biological sciences with experiences from my Biochemistry undergraduate studies and that of my masters in biomedical science. I have developed molecular and cellular biology skills through my coursework and laboratory projects, where I applied analytical techniques to study various biological systems and processes. I have gained hands-on experience in biotechnological and biomedical research through two placements at the Biotechnology Center of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta and the Department of Biological Sciences of the University of Huddersfield. I have worked on projects involving enzyme activity, gene cloning, protein expression and purification, cell culture, PCR, and mutagenesis, using various instruments and methods. I have also demonstrated my ability to write scientific reports and present my findings to different audiences. I am eager to pursue my scientific career and further my research skills. I am interested in exploring the molecular mechanisms and therapeutic targets of infectious diseases, especially tuberculosis. I am currently running my PhD program at the University of Huddersfield as a contribution to the advancement of biomedical knowledge and innovation. I am also keen to collaborate with other researchers and professionals who share my enthusiasm and curiosity for biological sciences.
