My professional career has been built on a solid foundation in biomedical engineering, driven by a passion for technology and its application in the healthcare field. My university education at Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana (UNITEC) as a biomedical engineer provided me with in-depth knowledge in key areas such as medical imaging, technical reports, and various specialized skills. During my years of study, I not only dedicated myself to academic excellence but also sought opportunities to apply my knowledge in practical settings. My internship experiences at UNITEC, both in the educational innovation and accreditation department and in the quality and accreditation area, allowed me to develop organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, my active participation in the IEEE student branch, where I held leadership roles as EMBS chair and SIGHT chair, provided me with the opportunity to work on impactful projects. My professional experience includes internships in various settings, where I immersed myself in the world of hospital biomedical engineering. Currently, I work as a field service engineer, where I work with equipment from renowned brands such as Abbott, BioBase, Biosystems, Biomerieux, and Norma. In addition to my work experience, I have constantly sought opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills through certifications in areas such as medical technology risk reduction and others. I have also participated in the publication of scientific research in indexed journals, such as my work on the adoption and challenges of electronic health records and information systems in Honduran hospitals.
