Acesulfame K (AK-Sugar, CAS 55589-62-3, C4H4SKNO4) is supplied by Shanghai Passiono Int'l Co., Ltd. as a white crystalline powder with assay of 99.0-101.0%, potassium content of 17.0-21.0%, and tight limits on heavy metals, fluoride, and other impurities. It is a high-intensity sweetener roughly 180-200 times sweeter than sucrose — comparable to aspartame, about half as sweet as saccharin, and a quarter as sweet as sucralose — packed in 25 kg drums under ISO 9001 certification with a two-year shelf life. It is distributed across North America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Australasia, the Middle East, and Africa.
