Acetazolamide

Acetazolamide (CAS 59-66-5, polymorphic Form II) is manufactured directly by Polpharma on a dedicated production line to EP standards at injection grade, with all single impurities held below 0.05% and backed by EU, US, Japanese, and Korean DMF readiness plus CEP certification. As a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor, it is used to reduce intraocular pressure in glaucoma, as a diuretic to manage fluid build-up (edema) in congestive heart failure, to treat certain seizure disorders, and to treat or prevent altitude sickness.
