Screening compounds against a drug target is a key step in early-stage drug discovery. Biortus maintains an extensive collection of testing equipment enabling development of numerous biochemical, biophysical, and cell-based assays, including SPR, kinase, ADP-Glo, TR-FRET, FP, Caliper, NanoDSF, and SPA. Fragment screening, a relatively recent approach, has become a popular complement to high-throughput screening in drug discovery; Biortus maintains two Rule-of-3-compliant fragment libraries, with all fragments dissolved in DMSO at 100 mM in 96- and 384-well formats and aqueous solubility of at least 1 mM.
