These digital PCR assays detect bacterial, fungal, parasitic, viral, antibiotic-resistance and virulence-factor genes, running on the QIAcuity system in about two hours with minimal hands-on time and covering more than 680 target genes. Each assay ships as a tube containing a primer pair and hydrolysis probe configurable to a chosen fluorophore (FAM, HEX, ROX, TAMRA or Cy5), allowing up to five targets per multiplex reaction; a single assay provides enough material for 200 reactions of 40 microliter each in 26k Nanoplates, or 666 reactions in 8.5k Nanoplates, run with the QIAcuity Probe PCR Kit for DNA targets or the OneStep Advanced Probe Kit for RNA/DNA targets.
