職務要約
I am a PhD researcher specializing in advanced pharmaceutical formulation, with a focus on the development of heterogeneous solid dispersions to enhance the delivery of poorly water-soluble drugs. My work primarily explores the use of spray drying and hot melt extrusion as enabling technologies to produce amorphous solid dispersions with improved stability and bioavailability.
My research investigates the role of water-soluble crystalline additives in modulating the physicochemical properties of amorphous systems, aiming to overcome key challenges such as recrystallization, dissolution limitations, and inconsistent drug release. By integrating formulation science with material characterization and process optimization, I seek to design robust drug delivery systems that improve therapeutic performance.
In parallel, I investigate particle engineering approaches such as microfluidization to achieve particle size reduction, improved wettability, and enhanced dissolution kinetics. I also develop formulation strategies for thermally labile compounds using freeze-drying (lyophilisation), with a focus on preserving amorphous structure, controlling residual moisture, and optimising reconstitution behaviour.
My research aims to advance the fundamental understanding of formulation–process–performance relationships and to translate these insights into robust, scalable drug delivery systems for enhanced oral bioavailability.
