I hold an MD (Doctor of Medicine), MSc and PhD in Pharmacology. I am currently the Deputy Principal, College of Health Sciences, Makerere University. As Deputy Principal, my responsibilities include overseeing academic activities at the college, such as curriculum review, teaching and learning process and new academic programmes development as the Chairman of Academic Programmes and Libraries sub-Committee of the College Academic Board. My office also supervises and guides research activities through developing partnerships and collaborations with other academic and research institutions locally and internationally. In addition I supervise the International Office, the Grants and Contracts Office that provides technical oversight to grant applications and management. As a Professor of Pharmacology my expertise is in the area of Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics, and drug development from natural products.
