職務要約
I am a bioinformatician and computational biologist specialising in computer-aided drug discovery, molecular modeling, and translational biomedical research. I completed my Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Singhania University, Rajasthan, with research conducted at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Allahabad under the supervision of Prof. Nidhi Mishra.
My research focuses on integrating bioinformatics, computational chemistry, molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulations, density functional theory (DFT), QSAR modeling, ADMET prediction, virtual screening, and pharmacophore-based approaches for the discovery and development of novel therapeutic agents. I have extensive experience in natural product-based drug discovery, particularly targeting cancer, infectious diseases, and other human disorders.
In addition to computational research, I possess hands-on experience in phytochemical extraction, nanoparticle synthesis, antioxidant and antimicrobial assays, microbial culture techniques, and in vivo experimental studies. My interdisciplinary expertise bridges computational and experimental methodologies, enabling comprehensive investigations in pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences.
I have authored 10 peer-reviewed research articles, 3 book chapters, and 2 patents in the fields of bioinformatics, computational drug discovery, nanobiotechnology, and medicinal chemistry.
As a Visiting Scientist at the Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel, I have expanded my research interests toward advanced computational biology, systems biology, genomics, and translational biomedical applications. My long-term goal is to develop innovative computational and integrative approaches for accelerating drug discovery, understanding disease mechanisms, and improving human health outcomes through data-driven biomedical research.
