Dr. Sushma Sawaraj is a medical educator specializing in pharmacology with a focus on undergraduate MBBS training. She is actively involved in teaching Phase II contributes to competency-based medical education (CBME) through curriculum design, assessment strategies, and structured lesson planning. Her academic interests include innovative teaching–learning methods, particularly the use of role play and audio-visual aids to enhance communication skills among medical students. She has developed educational resources on drug action modifiers, pharmacogenomics, and vaccine development, integrating clinical relevance into foundational teaching. Dr Sushma is committed to fostering a student-centered learning environment and advancing medical education through interactive and evidence-based approaches.
