She has extensive experience in risk assessment serving in national and international advisory boards. She has published more than 100 Scientific Opinions in EFSA Journal on risk assessment of contaminants in food and feed.
Her major fields of research are: genetic toxicology, mechanisms of chemical mutagenesis, gene-environment interaction studies in human populations, risk assessment of environmental risk factors.
She is the author of more than 140 papers in peer-reviewed international journals and books.
