Halima Begum, MBBS, MPhil, is a Professor of Pharmacology at Enam Medical College, Bangladesh. She began her academic career after earning her MBBS in 2006 and her MPhil in Pharmacology from Sir Salimullah Medical College in 2011. Since joining Enam Medical College in 2012, she has been actively involved in teaching undergraduate pharmacology, curriculum development, and mentoring medical students. Her research spans experimental pharmacology—particularly plant-based compounds—prescription pattern evaluation, and KAP studies addressing drug use and rational pharmacotherapy. She is passionate about integrating evidence-based practices into medical education and contributing to meaningful, community-focused research.
