Hamed Vavadi received his Ph.D. Biomedical engineering at the University of Connecticut in 2017. His area of expertise includes near-infrared spectroscopy, optical imaging and tomography, cancer diagnosis, Epilepsy detection, and wearable devices and health sensing. He is currently performing research in development of new wearable optical sensors at Google
