Khaldon Lweesy received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan, in 1994 and 1997, respectively, and the Ph.D degree in Biomedical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, USA, in 2004. Since then, he has been with the department of Biomedical Engineering at Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan, where he is currently an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering. In 2003, he joined the department of Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering at Abu Dhabi University. His main areas of research interest are digital signal processing, artificial intelligence, and diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound.
