Technical Advisor

Dr. Mitsuo Saito is currently a Chief Director at nonprofit corporation Health Vigilance Institute. He served for the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare MHLW as a technical officer (1995-2010), was the reviewer of the PMDEC (1997-1999, 2001), Visiting Scientist of the FDA (1999), Senior Researcher of the National Institute of Health Sciences (2003-2009), PMDA (2009-2010) and MHLW (2010). Associate Professor of the Teikyo-Heisei University from Nov. 2010 to Mar. 2018.Dr. Saito graduated the University of Tokyo and received a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences in 2007. Dr. Saito also served as Adjunct Professor (part-time basis) at Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at University of Tokyo from October 2014 to March 2017. He had been associate visiting scientist of National Institute of Health Sciences (NIHS) until June 2016. He has been a part-time lecturer at Showa University Shcool of Pharmacy (2017-2022), Technical Adviser at Tohoku University (2012-2018) and Japan Pharmaceutical Information Center (since 2016) on part-time basis.
