Master’s student in the Graduate Program in Materials Science and Engineering at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). Holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the same institution. Was a scientific initiation fellow in the area of X-ray diffraction and small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), focusing on the development and fabrication of sample holders for SAXS and on the study of the structure of poloxamers, polymers, and lipids with drugs using small-angle neutron scattering (SANS). Member of the X-Ray Optics and Instrumentation Laboratory (LORXI/UFPR). Received an award for best presentation at the 14th SIEPE (Integrated Week of Teaching, Research, and Extension) at UFPR, winning 1st place in the EVINCI/EINTI Panel 015 – International Panel 1 (15th EINTI) in 2023. Also received the Bernhard Gross Award for best poster in the symposium "Nanomaterials for Medicine Application and Nanotoxicology" at the XXII B-MRS Meeting of the Brazilian Materials Research Society (SBPMat), as well as 1st place in EVINCI/EINTI Panel 024 – Hybrid Exact Sciences (31st EVINCI). Has performed measurements at the ISIS Neutron and Muon Source and at the Diamond Light Source synchrotron, both in the United Kingdom. Served as an organizer of the international congress "I Neutrons Techniques Workshop Collaboration ISIS/UK Brazil."
Volunteers as a member of the UFPR OPTICA Student Chapter, associated with OPTICA (formerly OSA), where he promotes science outreach and organizes events related to optics. Recently, the chapter was recognized by OPTICA as the most community-engaged student chapter. Also serves as an advisor in the UFPR Baja SAE extension project.
Has academic and professional interests in X-ray and neutron diffraction and scattering, optics, vibrations, instrumentation, drug delivery systems, and nanoparticles.
