Sara Jacinta Godinho Salgado concluded the Integrated Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto in 22/09/2022. She attended continuing education courses during her academic career, particularly in the field of Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry, Toxicology, and Digital health. In her 4th year of the Integrated Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences, she was involved in the Research Project (Projeto I, FFUP) at the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Laboratory. From September 2020 to September 2021 she collaborated in the research activities underway at Laboratório de Química Orgânica e Farmacêutica (LQOF) , having developed work on synthesis, purification, and structural elucidation of bioactive substances. She was an intern in Hospital Pharmacy at Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Porto (January-February 2022) and since March 2022 she has been an intern in Community Pharmacy at Farmácia Aveirense. She is a member of Associação Cura +, a volunteer association founded by students from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto, in which she is part of the project 'Polimedicação + Segura'. Since January 2022, she has been a research team member in the project 'Sustainable antifouling agents: from grape wastes to the sea with the green chemistry leading the way' at the Interdisciplinary Center for Marine and Environmental Research at the University of Porto (CIIMAR). She is currently a PhD student in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry) at Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto. She participated in several scientific congresses, of which the presentation of poster communication at the XXVI Encontro Galego-Português de Química deserves to be highlighted.
