Omnilock™ Ultra PAPER is a groundbreaking, fully recyclable, heat-sealable, ultra-high-barrier paper from Huhtamaki, built to replace non-recyclable multi-layer laminates made from paper, plastic and aluminum. Representing a major step in sustainable packaging, it achieves ultra-high barrier properties, once possible only with non-recyclable aluminum foil/plastic laminates, through a fully recyclable paper solution. With 87-93% paper content from FSC-certified fibers, it maintains strong barrier performance while remaining environmentally friendly, delivers an impressive recyclability yield of around 80% confirmed by organizations such as CEPI and OPRL, and holds Cyclos HTP certification further validating its recyclability.
