Saudi private non-profit university in Riyadh, founded in 2007 by the King Faisal Foundation on the site of the king's former residence and teaching in English. Teaches through colleges of medicine, pharmacy, engineering, science and general studies and business with graduate programmes, trains its health students at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre next door, and carries out research in the biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences with its own laboratories and a research centre.
