American arm of Arkema, the French specialty materials group formed in 2004 out of Total's chemicals businesses, with its United States head office at King of Prussia in Pennsylvania and plants across the country. Makes specialty chemicals and polymers including acrylics, thiochemicals, fluorochemicals, hydrogen peroxide, organic peroxides and high performance polymers, supplying excipients, intermediates, coatings and medical grade polymers used in pharmaceutical manufacture and medical devices alongside adhesives, coatings and industrial materials.
