Canadian public research university in Halifax, Nova Scotia, founded in 1818, with a further agricultural campus at Truro. Its Faculty of Health runs the College of Pharmacy teaching the Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and postgraduate degrees, alongside the Faculty of Medicine with departments of pharmacology and physiology and biophysics, the Faculty of Dentistry and schools of nursing and health administration, with research in drug discovery, pharmacology, pain and clinical trials with the Nova Scotia Health hospitals.
