Indian pharmacy institute on the Rushikonda campus in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, a constituent unit of GITAM, a deemed to be university founded in 1980. Approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and the All India Council for Technical Education, it offers Bachelor of Pharmacy, Master of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy and doctoral programmes with research in pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology and pharmacognosy.
