Hochschule Mannheim

German university of applied sciences in Mannheim in Baden-Württemberg, founded in 1898 as an engineering school and now a technical university of applied sciences. Teaches biotechnology, biological chemistry, medical technology and process engineering alongside mechanical, electrical and computer engineering, design and social work, runs its own institute of medical technology with Heidelberg University and applied research in biotechnology and biomedical engineering, and works with regional pharmaceutical and device companies on projects and placements.
