Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology

Japanese national graduate university at Nomi in Ishikawa prefecture, founded in 1990 as the first independent graduate school of its kind in the country. Teaches only master's and doctoral students, in materials chemistry, bioscience and biotechnology, information science, knowledge science and green electronics, runs laboratories for polymer and biomaterial research, nanotechnology and computational science, and works with Japanese industry on joint research.
