Lagos University Teaching Hospital

Nigerian federal teaching hospital at Idi-Araba in Surulere, Lagos, opened in 1962 as the teaching hospital of the College of Medicine of the University of Lagos and one of the country's largest tertiary hospitals. Provides medical and surgical specialties with cardiothoracic surgery, oncology and radiotherapy, nephrology and dialysis, neurosurgery, obstetrics and paediatrics and emergency care, and runs its own clinical laboratories, blood bank, imaging services and hospital pharmacy with residency training and clinical research.
