American non-profit foundation in East Lansing, Michigan, founded in 1973 to advance the research and commercialisation activity of Michigan State University. Manages the university's intellectual property and technology transfer, licenses inventions including the platinum anticancer drugs cisplatin and carboplatin discovered at the university, funds and incubates spinout companies through its venture funds and business incubators and invests its endowment to support research at the university.
