British biopharmaceutical research company at Cambridge, England, the United Kingdom arm of Nxera Pharma, which was called Sosei Heptares until the group took its present name in April 2024 and which grew out of Heptares Therapeutics. Runs the group's research and development on G protein coupled receptor structure based drug design, discovering and developing small molecule and biologic candidates in neurology, psychiatry, immunology, gastroenterology and metabolic disease, and licenses its structure based discovery platform to pharmaceutical partners; the group employs more than three hundred and fifty people across Tokyo, Osaka, London, Cambridge, Basel and Seoul.
