Jordanian private university at Jerash Road north of Amman, founded in 1989 and one of the country's older private universities. Teaches through faculties of pharmacy, nursing, science with chemistry and biotechnology, engineering and technology with biomedical and chemical engineering, information technology and business, and runs its own teaching laboratories, a pharmacy training unit and applied research with Jordanian industry and hospitals.
