Sheba Medical Center

Israeli government hospital at Tel HaShomer in Ramat Gan near Tel Aviv, founded in 1948 and the largest hospital in the country, affiliated to the Tel Aviv University medical faculty. Provides acute and rehabilitation care across an acute hospital, a rehabilitation hospital, a children's hospital and a cancer centre, with transplantation, cardiology, oncology and haematology and a large intensive care service, and runs its own research institutes, clinical laboratories, hospital pharmacy and one of the busiest clinical trial units in Israel.
