Oncology business of the Japanese pharmaceutical company Takeda, built on the Millennium Pharmaceuticals company of Cambridge in Massachusetts that Takeda bought in 2008 and which took the Takeda Oncology name in 2013. Discovers, develops and sells medicines for blood cancers and solid tumours including proteasome inhibitors for multiple myeloma, antibody drug conjugates for lymphoma and targeted therapies for lung cancer, and runs research and clinical development in the United States and Japan.
